SOCAL Ltda. is a Chilean loss adjusting company, founded by José Antonio Cámbara L. in October 11th, 1996 according to Resolution Nº 246 of the Superintendence of Values and Securities of Chile. José Antonio has been a loss adjuster officer since 1985, year when he was granted this title by the above mentioned Superintendence.

SOCAL's vast and outstanding experience in the insurance industry is supported by a team of qualified professionals, with a strong technical and commercial knowledge in the field. As a result, the office has accomplished the perfect balance of efficiency in all the faces of the adjustment process –from the reception of the claim and the immediate contact with the client, to the issue of the adjustment final report.

These capabilities have enabled the office to have presence with successful results in all catastrophic events occurred in Chile since 1996, being the 2010 earthquake –for its magnitude and devastation the most significant of them all.

The main services provided by SOCAL are Property loss adjustment, which includes fire and additional perils such as flood and earthquake, theft, mobile equipment, machinery, electronic installations, construction all risks and overland transport. Also, loss adjustment for civil liability, personal injury, heavy-duty and light vehicles.

SOCAL's correspondent network throughout all the country's mains cities allows the office to provide an immediate attention to the assignment of a casualty, wherever and whenever it occurs.

For the past two years, this office has attended an average of 200 casualties a month.
